How to report an error

  1. Email [email protected].
  2. Include the story link (it looks like sovereignagiasi.com/news/…).
  3. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, link a source that shows the correct information.

If a story names you or someone you represent and you believe it is inaccurate or unfair, say so in the subject line. Those reports are reviewed first.

Our policy

  • Factual errors are corrected in the story, and a note at the end says what changed and when.
  • The story's “Updated” time changes whenever the copy changes.
  • If a story cannot be fixed — for example if its only source is withdrawn — we take it down.
  • Crime and court stories that do not meet our crime rules are removed, not just edited.
  • We do not silently rewrite stories to hide a mistake.

What is not a correction

Disagreeing with a source's account is not an error on our part — but tell us anyway, and link your side. If an official source updates its release, we update the story.
