Akademiks TV: Soulja Boy Addresses Media Outlets who Put out FAKE NEWS against him. He CANCELS THEM!

What we know

Akademiks TV put a public video on YouTube on December 21, 2020. The upload is titled Soulja Boy Addresses Media Outlets who Put out FAKE NEWS against him. He CANCELS THEM!. The runtime on the YouTube listing is under ten minutes. The listing marks the file as a public upload. SNN did not download the footage. Anything a viewer would learn only by pressing play is outside this page. Akademiks TV is the channel named on the file, and the culture desk is logging the upload as its own story.

The upload

The title opens with this wording: Soulja Boy Addresses Media Outlets who Put out FAKE NEWS against him. That stretch is the channel's label for the clip. It is not a transcript of anyone on camera. Another stretch of the title says: He CANCELS THEM!. SNN is reading that stretch as a heading the channel chose, not as a guest's statement. FAKE NEWS appears in the public title or the public description. This page does not invent a quote for FAKE NEWS. The upload's public text is what places He CANCELS THEM here. Nothing on this page adds a scene for He CANCELS THEM. The description under this file is a promo block. It points at Instagram, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook. That block does not add chapters, quotes, or a scene-by-scene account of the upload.

What's next

The footage stays on the Akademiks TV YouTube upload. The source credit on this page is that upload. SNN is not rehosting the picture or the audio. Later Akademiks TV uploads are filed as their own stories when they go up. This story is tied to the wording captured for the December 21, 2020 filing. If the channel later edits the title or the description, the page still reflects the wording filed here.
